Everyone deserves a chance at great vision.
About Olney EyeCare
Eyes are complicated.
Your eyes are how you process the world. So when blurry and uncomfortable vision impacts you, it can feel scary. You shouldn’t have to wonder what’s wrong with your eyes.
Over the last 30 years serving thousands of patients, we’ve learned something important: healthy eyes need so much more than clinical care. That’s why at Olney EyeCare, we treat people first – we listen carefully to your concerns, develop personalized treatment plans to address those concerns, and thoroughly explain everything along the way, so you’re never left in the dark.
When you visit Olney EyeCare, you won’t be met with a cold, uninviting doctor’s office environment. From the people to the decor, we want you to feel right at home – like we just welcomed you into the dining room. Take a seat – we can’t wait to chat with you about your eyes.
I started wearing glasses at age five and contacts at nine. I was deathly afraid to go to swimming lessons because I couldn’t see anything in the pool. But glasses, contact lenses, and multiple laser surgeries have made all the difference for me and my vision confidence. That’s why I became an optometrist.
Today, my team and I have welcomed thousands of people through our doors to help them clearly understand their eyes so that they can feel confident about their eye health, too.
Every summer, before school starts, Dr. DeShon and the Olney EyeCare team host a Kindergarten Day.
The state of Illinois requires a comprehensive eye exam for Kindergarten students. To make it more convenient, we partner with Noble Lions Club to hold Kindergarten Day on weekends. We provide a fun environment for quick and free exams for families.
It’s our gift to the community and our pleasure to serve our neighbors!
