See yourself starting a new career journey? As an Optometric technician, you will play an important role by providing direct support to our Doctor. No experience? No problem! You will be provided with the training and tools to deliver the best-in-class care for our patients.
You will
- Consult with patients documenting complaints and concerns
- Chart ocular and medical histories
- Maintain a smooth flow of patients
- Learn to use equipment to perform a range of screenings and testing for the doctor
- Assist the doctor with procedures
- Apply both optical and medical treatments
- Conduct contact lens training
- Collaborate with the doctor and team members to provide a seamless patient experience
About you
- High School Diploma / GED with the ability to understand and perform basic math
- Someone who is personable, patient, and understanding
- Someone who is detailed oriented and will work closely with our Doctor
- Willingness to learn about patient care, eye care products and services
- Team Player that will provide the best patient experience
- Prior optical background is great but NOT required
- Training will be provided for the right candidate
